Signs You Need a Whole-Home Dehumidifier
Musty or Mildew Smell
A persistent musty odor, even after cleaning, usually means humidity is high enough to support mold growth somewhere in the home.
Condensation on Windows or Ducts
Moisture continuously beading on glass or ductwork is a clear sign indoor humidity is running well above a comfortable range.
Indoor Humidity Above 60%
A hygrometer reading consistently above 60% indoors is high enough to feel sticky and support mold and dust mites.
Air Feels Sticky Even With AC Running
Your AC cools the air but doesn’t always pull out enough moisture on its own, especially on mild, humid days.
Visible Mold Growth
Mold on walls, closets, or bathroom ceilings often points to a whole-house humidity problem, not just one damp room.
AC Runs Without Comfort
If your system runs continuously nonstop but the indoor air still feels uncomfortably heavy, humidity, not temperature, is likely the real issue.

What Our Customers Say
Armando and Aaron, are extremely courteous, and friendly. Showed up on time, informed us of the steps, and the job to their best, explained me the issues, and the solutions. Documented all the work. Would highly recommend.
Honeycomb was fantastic. Not only did they get to me fast, the repairmen (Dorian & Fernando) were friendly, professional, they explained everything, and got the work done quickly. And the best part, they were able to diagnose the issue, after another company told me my whole unit need to be replaced. Definitely recommend them!
Friendly, clean and professional! Angel & Manuel were great! They came out right away and made everything right for me!

Frequently Asked Questions for Whole-Home Dehumidifiers Installation
How much does a whole-home dehumidifier cost?
Installation runs $700 to $1,500 depending on unit capacity and how your existing ductwork is set up. You get a written price after your in-home assessment.
What size dehumidifier do I need for my whole home?
Sizing depends on your square footage, current humidity levels, and how your ductwork is laid out. A technician measures this onsite rather than sizing off square footage alone.
Will a whole-home dehumidifier work with my existing ductwork?
Most homes with central air ductwork can tie a whole-home dehumidifier directly into the existing system. Your technician checks compatibility during the initial assessment.
How is a whole-home dehumidifier different from a portable one?
A whole-home unit ties into your ductwork and treats the entire house from one control point. A portable unit only treats the room it’s sitting in and needs its water tank emptied regularly.
