Signs You Need An AC Refrigerant Leak Repair
Ice on the Copper Lines
Frost or ice buildup on the lineset is one of the clearest signs refrigerant is low.
Hissing or Bubbling Sound
A hissing noise near either unit usually means refrigerant is escaping under pressure.
Warm Air From the Vents
The system runs but can’t pull enough heat out of the air without a full refrigerant charge.
Oily Residue at Connections
Refrigerant carries oil, so a leak often leaves a visible oily film at fittings and joints.
Needing a Recharge Every Season
Refrigerant doesn’t run out on its own. Repeated recharges point to an unfixed leak.
Cooling Bill Climbing
A system low on refrigerant works harder and longer to reach the same temperature.

What Our Customers Say
We had Aaron and Angel out at our house to service our A/C unit because the secondary line was leaking. They were patient, courteous, mindful of the property, and very thorough. They took the time to answer all our questions. I felt very at ease with their knowledge of their profession. World highly recommend.
Aaron and Gil were great doing our annual tuneup! Found a leak in one of our units and some suggestions on the other 2, but never pressured us to go with them for repairs. Took a lot of pictures and explained everything thoroughly. Highly recommend.
Manny and Jesse came by today to check why my A/C was leaking through my ceiling. They wore booties, talked me through everything they were doing and gave me a great price. Thanks gentlemen!

Frequently Asked Questions for AC Refrigerant Leak Repair
How much does refrigerant leak repair cost?
Leak repairs range from $285 to $2,194 depending on where the leak is located and whether it needs a sealant treatment, a line repair, or a valve replacement. You get the exact tier price after the leak is found.
How do you find where an AC is leaking refrigerant?
We start with an electronic leak detector to scan the lineset and coil. If the leak doesn’t show up there, we use a dye kit that makes the exact leak point visible under UV light.
Is it okay to just keep recharging the refrigerant instead of fixing the leak?
Recharging without repairing the leak means the refrigerant escapes again, usually within months. It also runs the system on a low charge in the meantime, which adds strain and raises your cooling bill.
Will a refrigerant leak damage my AC system if I wait to fix it?
Running low on refrigerant for an extended period puts extra strain on the compressor, which is one of the more expensive components to replace. Addressing the leak sooner protects the rest of the system.
